The Dolphin Connection's team of marine-mammal experts will school you on everything that you need to know about dolphins. Educational and inspiring, guests can get up close and personal with the dolphins while learning the ever-important need for eco-conservation.

Founded in 1996 by Doug and Cheryl Messinger, the program's mission has always been to encourage responsible enjoyment of the marine environment. The dolphins serve as ambassadors for this fragile ecosystem, and as partners in the scientific research behind breeding and preserving this amazing marine mammal. Doug, Cheryl, and the other trainers on their team are actively involved in the International Marine Animal Trainers Association, the National Marine Educators Association, the International Association of Aquatic Mammal Medicine, and several other organizations devoted to the health and welfare of bottlenosed dolphins and other marine mammals. Together, Doug and Cheryl have been caring for aquatic mammals for over 50 years.
